Wine Baskets

No matter what the occasion, it would be marvelous to receive one of genuine wine baskets as a present.

Generally wine baskets can be delivered to the recipient at his/her home or at workplace.

A diversity of wine baskets exists on the market. Some baskets may include fruits, while others might include dry or canned foods or non-edible goods, or the basket might include a combination of such products. Gourmet gift baskets typically contain exotic fruits and expensive cheese, as well as other valuable items.

Wine has a deep history dating back hundreds and even thousands of years. It is generally made from one or more varieties of the European species of grape, such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Gamay and Merlot. If only one of those grape varieties is utilized as the predominant grape, the result is a varietal wine. Blended wines are not usually considered inferior to varietal wines. Some of the most exuberant wines, from regions like Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley, are blended from different grapes.

Usual fruits in gourmet wine baskets are grapes, bananas, apples, avocados, artichokes, mangoes, lychees, papayas, oranges, lemons, pineapples, pomegranates, strawberries.

Dry and canned foods of a wine basket may include bread, cheese, coffee, chocolate, honey, crackers, jam, marmalade, cookies, tea, nuts, soft drinks.

Non-edible products usually include cash, greeting cards, fresh flowers, plants, stuffed animals.
